Dr. Berk Köni began his dental career at Gazi University in Ankara, graduating in 2009. He went on to join Cardiff University’s Faculty of Dentistry through the prestigious Erasmus Scholarship Programme, where he deepened his expertise in Maxillofacial Orthopedics and embraced global treatment standards.
Driven by a passion for innovation in orthodontics, Dr. Köni’s early research on orthodontic mini-implants earned academic recognition and laid the foundation for his advanced clinical approach. In 2015, he founded his own multidisciplinary clinic in Ankara, and by 2018, established a digital printing lab for in-house clear aligner production—one of the first of its kind in the region.
His academic entrepreneurship took shape with the co-founding of Doublecheck Orthodontic Aligner Academy in 2020, a consultancy and training platform dedicated to digital orthodontics, Invisalign, and in-house aligner systems. Through this initiative, he has trained and mentored orthodontists across Turkey, UAE, Bulgaria, Holland, and Azerbaijan.
An official Invisalign speaker and Diamond Invisalign Provider since 2022, Dr. Köni is internationally recognized for his contributions to digital orthodontics. He also holds two patents in the field, reflecting his ongoing commitment to clinical innovation.
Now based in Dubai, Dr. Köni is proud to be part of the Invisalign Center team. Fluent in Turkish and English, he brings with him a wealth of experience, a deep passion for digital orthodontics, and a mission to help every patient achieve their ideal smile.
